you have to create a new Menuitem in your Mainmenu from the type 'Userprofile - default". Then you can set Componentparameters on the right side ;)

How can I edit the default displayed fields.
For example,
1. add the Name field (not user name)
2. remove the homepage field. I don't even known where this field come from.

once you have created a MenuItem of the type UserProfile you can directly set its parameters on the right site "Basis-Settings"

To show the name and not the username you have to replace the value [USERNAME] with [NAME].

To remove the homepage field just set "Show Homepage" to "No"

That's great! How can I suppress the written article column?
I assume if this can be done, the similar rules will apply to the Registered at and Log login at columns!
I unchecked all the radio buttons in the Basic Options. I must have missed something here.

What columns do you want to show? Just the username?!

I suggest the written articles column is not much used for end users. Usually they do not have the access, knowledge or interest to write any article for a site.
In the short team, the ability of display name, username, email address like the fields in the joomla back-end User Manager will be helpful.
In the longer term, it will be good and flexible if any fields related to the cas_users table can be selected for displayed.
I like the Registered at and Last login at fields.
